Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara
You will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel in the morning by our well experienced Safari Guide/ Driver with a custom made safari tour van. After a short briefing you start your journey to Naibosho Conservancy in Masai Mara. You will arrive at Wilderness Camp in time for lunch followed by relaxation as you take in the sights and sounds of the savannah. At about 3:00pm begin your adventure as you follow the footsteps of the Dorobo to the first carefully selected campsite. Learn about the nomadic lifestyle of the Dorobo and become part of the wilderness as you explore the savannah and come close to nature. Arrive at the campsite and find a roaring fire and fine cuisine prepared by our Masai chefs. Day 2: Exploring the Mara on foot
Rise early for an African tea/coffee before embarking on a Full Day Walking Safari. Experience the treasures of nature as you walk beside the Maasai. During your walk, learn about the local culture, the animals and the bird life of the savannah. Track the footprints of the wildlife and identify birds of the savannah by their colors and sounds. After a few hours walk, sit down to a bush breakfast served under clear blue African skies. Enjoy the delights of a proper breakfast before resuming your walk. When the sun becomes very hot, our guide will identify a suitable acacia tree where you will sit under the shade and enjoy lunch with a view of the African sky. Relax under the acacia tree and as the temperature begins to cool continue your walk to the next carefully selected mobile campsite. Arrive at the campsite where your dome tent and a warm fire await. Day 3: Exploring the Mara on foot
Awake at dawn for an incredible sunrise and a well deserved breakfast before beginning your walk to Wilderness Camp. As you walk through the award winning Mara Naboisho Conservancy, learn about the wildlife population that includes an abundance of lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes and elephants. You will also learn about the small 5 of the savannah and their big role in the Mara ecosystem. Walking and mobile camping is an immersion into the sights and sounds of the nature. As you explore and unravel the hidden secrets of the savannah you come close to the very essence of the African wilderness. Arrive at Wilderness Camp to freshen up, relax and enjoy lunch prepared by our well trained Masai chefs. Relax in your tent as you take in the sights and sounds of the incomparable Saddle Valley. At 4:00pm meet your Masai guide for an afternoon game drive. Day 4: Hell’s Gate
After enjoying your breakfast you will leave Masai Mara towards Hells Gate National Park with lunch in a designated restaurant along the way. At the entrance of Hell’s Gate you will join a local guide who will take you on a cycling tour to see the spectacular scenery including the towering cliffs, water-gouged gorges, stark rock towers, scrub clad volcanoes and belching plumes of geothermal steam, making it one of the most atmospheric Parks in Africa. You can do rock climbing and see diverse wildlife including buffaloes, zebras, antelopes, giraffes and many more. In the late afternoon you will exit Hell’s Gate and rejoin your driver guide.
